Since work has been a little slow lately (thanks a lot, NIC!) I've had to find some websites to help KILL some time (now read the title of this post again. I'll wait. . . .HA! See? I'm funny late at night! Tee-hee! . . . .I should go to sleep now).
So here are some new favorites that I've discovered:
1. Falling Sand - This game is so simple, and yet it's so fascinating when you're bored! 2. Lunchtimers - A room favorite. Fight/Team-up with other people online to spell things or complete a puzzle. 3. Samorost - One of those fun problem solving games with fun graphics. And here's part two.
1. Kitten Cannon - it's just as fun as it sounds. 2. Home Run - Keep the drunk guy on his feet. 3. Subservient Chicken - He obeys your every command! 4. Line Rider - Draw your course and let the little sledder run it. And, of course, 5. The Impossible Quiz!!! (Yes, some of us - 717 and 738 - conquered this one.)
So which ones do you like? And do you have any others?
I checked out the FAQ page and it mostly discussed why this guy was charging so much. I guess he has to defend himself constantly because - let's face it - he's overcharging.
The first half of Man of Steel is a great movie -- the second half, however, is only mediocre at best. Oddly enough, the most boring parts of this movie are the fighting scenes, which is strange because Zack Snyder normally knows how to direct action sequences. Also, Man of Steel tries to be too dark for its own good, so when they try for lighthearted humor, it feels out of place. I wanted to like this film more than I did.
