I've seen some horrible hair styles in my day. While some are natural, a lot of the bad hair that I've seen has actually turned out to be fake hair. People use toupees, weaves, extensions and the like to try and make their hair look better, but it usually just looks like they have squirrels nesting on their head.
So imagine my surprise when I found out that a bad hairdo in Kansas City, Missouri saved a woman's life. Briana Bonds pulled into a convenience store parking lot and saw her ex-boyfriend, Juan Kemp, sitting in a car. Another man ran up to her window and told her that her ex still loved her. She replied that she didn't love him anymore and started to drive off.
That's when she heard the gunshots. (Dum dum duuuuuuuuuum!)
Bonds turned and and saw that Kemp was holding a gun and firing at her. Her back window shattered and she even felt something hit the back of her head, but she kept on driving. Police were called and Kemp was arrested. And when they were examining Bonds, they found something strange in her hair weave. They found. . .a bloody hook from the one-armed mental patient who escaped the day before!!! (Dum dum DUUUUUUUUUUUM!)
I kid.
They actually found the bullet. Yes, Kemp actually did hit Bonds, but her tight "natural-looking" hair weave stopped the bullet! She even said that the bullet was still hot when she found it.
Now THAT'S what I call a close call!
Don't believe me? See for yourself!

Wow. I will go visit my stylist today!
To think that this whole time the army has been wasting money on Kevlar...
I'm curious as to the caliber weapon he was shooting, if I had to guess I'd say .22 lr.
